This room has been renovated from a traditional earthen storehouse designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.
It is located in a separate building across the courtyard, and both the first and second floors are available for use.
While preserving the unique atmosphere of the original storehouse, the room is equipped with a shower and toilet, ensuring a comfortable stay.
Traditionally used for storing valuables, clothing, and documents, the storehouse is built with earthen walls coated in plaster.
These materials help regulate temperature naturally, keeping the space warm in winter and cool in summer.
