【 Plan Highlights 】
This is the highest-ranked dining plan at Hatcho-no-Yu, featuring a premium addition to the standard kaiseki course—succulent fillet steak of Kirifuri Highland beef. The meal concludes with a hot pot rice dish topped with yuba (tofu skin) and salmon roe. Guests will stay in a cozy log house at Villa Lodge Hatcho.
【 Hatcho-no-Yu - Okukinu Onsenkyo 】
Hatcho-no-Yu is a secluded hot spring inn deep in the mountains, built around the concept of a "hidden resort." We offer a variety of stay styles so that more guests can enjoy their time in Hatcho-no-Yu.
Located within Nikko National Park, private vehicles are not permitted. Please use our free shuttle bus from the “Meotobuchi Free Parking Lot,” the final stop of the Nikko city-operated bus. Advance reservation is required to use the shuttle.
Alternatively, you may hike along the scenic mountain trail (approx. 90 minutes on foot). For those arriving by car, please park at the Meotobuchi Free Parking Lot. Though access may require some effort, we promise a rewarding stay with exceptional hot springs and relaxing accommodations.
【 Our Hot Springs 】
All of our baths are fed 100% by naturally flowing hot spring water directly from the source—no boilers or reheating. The spring water flows from eight different points on the surrounding mountainside, providing about 220 liters per minute.
Enjoy the beauty of each season from our four open-air baths: three are mixed-gender and one is women-only. "Shakunage-no-Yu" lets you bathe right beside a waterfall, "Yukimi-no-Yu" offers the hottest water closest to the source, and "Takimi-no-Yu" provides a serene soak with waterfall views. We also have separate indoor baths for men and women.
Our spring is a neutral hypotonic high-temperature spring. Its soft, gentle quality is easy on the skin and body.
【 Meals 】

【 Important Notes 】
From December to April, snow is expected. Please equip your vehicle with snow tires or chains to reach Meotobuchi Parking Lot.
If you plan to hike from Meotobuchi, proper gear and experience for mountain trekking are required. Please come fully prepared.
