[Okukinu Hot Spring Hatcho no Yu]

Okukinu Hot Spring Hatcho no Yu is a hot spring inn deep in the mountains with the concept of a "hidden resort." We have prepared a variety of stay styles so that more guests can enjoy their time at Hatcho no Yu.

The hotel is located in Nikko National Park and cannot be accessed by private car. A free shuttle bus is available from the last stop of the Nikko Municipal Bus, Meotobuchi Free Parking, so please be sure to make a reservation in advance.

You can also come along the hiking course in the great outdoors. (About 90 minutes on foot) If you come by car, please park in the Meotobuchi free parking lot. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are waiting for you with a wonderful hot spring and a comfortable stay.

[Haccho no Yu no Onsen]

All the hot springs at the hotel are 100% natural free-flowing hot springs. We do not use a boiler to reheat the food. The hot water springs out naturally from the surface of the mountain in eight places on the premises, and the amount of hot water is about 220 liters per minute. From four open-air baths (3 mixed bathing open-air baths, 1 women-only open-air bath) surrounded by the great nature of Okukinu, you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons. For mixed bathing, there is "Shakunobana no Yu" where you can feel the waterfall right next to you, "Yukimi no Yu" where you can enjoy the hot water closest to the source, and "Takimi no Yu" where you can enjoy the bath while looking at the waterfall. There is one indoor bath for men and women. The spring quality is a neutral hypotonic hot spring. Because it is neutral, the hot water is soft and less irritating, and it is a hot water with less burden on the body.

■Dinner
The head chef, who loves the nature of Okukinu, prepares each dish with his originality and ingenuity, using local seasonal ingredients that change with the seasons. We are preparing carefully for customers who love mountains.

Grilled dish: Salt-grilled rock fish
Lid: Cooked seasonal vegetables
Fried food: carp, log shiitake mushrooms, rape blossoms, eggplants
Main dish: Ezo venison steak
Meals: Koshihikari rice from Takanezawa, Tochigi Prefecture, miso soup, pickles
Dessert: Forest ranch vanilla ice cream

Source steamed in Hatcho hot springs and side dishes that go well with freshly cooked rice. After departure, we prepare a energizing breakfast so that you can continue your wonderful journey.

【Precautions】

*Because it snows from December to April, please use studless tires or chains even to the Meotobuchi free parking lot.
*If you come on foot from the Meotobuchi free parking lot, you need equipment and experience of mountain walking. Please come after taking sufficient measures.

[Regarding the shuttle bus]

Since general vehicles are not allowed to enter from Meotobuchi, you can only walk or use the shuttle bus.
If you would like to use the shuttle bus, please select the desired time from the following and fill in the remarks column.
There are 5 flights a day at 9:30/10:30/12:00/15:00/16:30.
*There is no shuttle bus service in the morning on the day the museum is closed. Thank you for your understanding.

*On your way back to Meotobuchi,
