with a resident monk or former temple administrator as your guide.
Learn about Kukai (Kobo Daishi), the founder of Shingon Buddhism,
as well as daily temple life and spiritual practice on Mount Koya.
Gain insights that only someone deeply connected to Koyasan can share.

Participants: 2–3 guests
Departure: 9:30 AM from Ten no Sato
Arrival in Koyasan: 10:05 AM
Tour Start: 10:15 AM
Tour End: Around 12:00 PM
Duration: Approximately 1.5–2 hours
Please select your preferred course when booking:
Option 1: Okunoin Course
Includes Gobyo Bridge, Lantern Hall, and the sacred mausoleum of Kobo Daishi.
Option 2: Kongobu-ji & Danjo Garan Course
Visit Kongobu-ji Temple (including Banryutei Rock Garden),
followed by key structures within the Danjo Garan complex,
such as the Konpon Daito (Great Pagoda) and Kondo (Main Hall).
