About Echizen Crab
Caught off the coast of Fukui where warm and cold currents meet, these crabs are nourished by a rich marine environment. Since 1910, the Echizen Crab has been renowned as the "King of Winter Delicacies" and remains a prized symbol of Fukui's culinary heritage.
Dining Information (In-Room)
Dinner: Served between 18:00 – 19:00. All courses are served by 21:00.
Custom Preparation Styles:
Whole Boiled: Pure sweetness and classic texture.
Sashimi & Grilled: Silky leg sashimi and aromatic charcoal-grilled shoulders/shell.
Please specify your choice in the "Inquiry" section. Groups may select a mix of both.
Seasonal Specialties:
Nov–Dec: Beniya’s signature "Seiko-gani" (female crab) Steamed Rice.
Jan–Mar: Premium Crab Chirashi Sushi.
Breakfast: Served between 8:00 – 8:30.
Featuring iron-kettle cooked "Koshihikari" rice and farm-fresh eggs, served in traditional Wajima lacquerware.

Children’s Policy
Upper Elementary: Same menu and price as adults.
Infants / Lower Elementary: A specialized "Shokado Bento" (traditional children's meal box) will be provided.

Echizen Crab fishing is highly weather-dependent and subject to strict government catch quotas. Even after the official season opens (Nov 6), fishing vessels may be unable to depart due to winter storms. In such cases, we will contact you to discuss adjustments to your plan.
