Yamagata traditional vegitables aplenty!
Please enjoy our Mama chef’s cooking.
We will choose the most suitable ingredients for the hot pot meal
depending on the season!
~ Hot (pot) takes ~
“Chicken hotpot” with rich chicken soup flavor.
“Pork hotpot” with soft gentle pork flavor
“Cod fish hotpot” from Japan sea in winter is Chef‘s choice
Using newly hervested rice, “Kiritanpo hotpot”
Kiritanpo is a Japanese dish particular to Akita Prefecture. Freshly cooked rice is pounded until somewhat mashed, then formed into cylinders around Japanese cedar skewers, and toasted over an open hearth. It can then be served with sweet miso or cooked as dumplings with meat and vegetables in soups. (Wikipedia)
etc…
Depending on the stock in reserve,
we will serve the best meal couse for you rather than hot pot.
・Our commitment to you! What is Yamagata dining without ‘imoni’?
Yamagata’s famous Imoni hot pot is cooked locally with different tastes and flavors depending on the family cooking it. Please try our special imoni hot pot! ※Imoni is cooked in a beef broth with soy sauce and local seasonal autumn vegetables.
・We always use premium Yamagata brand rice
We always use premium Yamagata brand rice (like Tsuyahime, Haenuki, or Yukiwakamaru). Please enjoy our prefecture's prized rice, so delicious you can eat it all by itself.
・All part of the culture.
Vegetables in Yamagata are grown and cultivated through harsh seasonal weather conditions, a tradition passed down from long ago.
