【Effective April 1, 2026】 Notice Regarding Accommodation Tax and Bathing Tax

In Hakodate City, an accommodation tax is scheduled to be introduced effective April 1, 2026.

Guests staying at our hotel will be required to pay the accommodation tax separately, based on the accommodation fee.

In addition, we would like to inform you that there will also be a revision to the bathing tax rate.

【Accommodation Tax Amount (per person per night)】

Accommodation fee under 20,000 yen…　200 yen

Accommodation fee from 20,000 yen ~ under 50,000 yen…　400 yen

Accommodation fee from 50,000 yen ~ under 100,000 yen…　1,000 yen

Accommodation fee 100,000 yen or more…　2,500 yen

*The above amounts represent the combined accommodation taxes imposed by Hokkaido Prefecture and Hakodate City.

*The accommodation fee is including the service fee, but excludes meal charges, consumption tax or other applicable taxes.

【Bathing Tax (per person per night)】

Effective April 2026, the bathing tax will be revised from 150 yen to 100 yen

【Notice to Our Guests】

The accommodation tax and bathing tax will be collected together with your accommodation charges at check-out.

Please note that these taxes must be paid at the hotel even if your reservation was prepaid.
