■Discontinuation of Installation of In-room Disposable Amenities

In order to further strengthen our efforts in consideration of the global environment, we will discontinue the installation of in-room disposable amenities from November 21, 2022, and ask our guests to bring their own. We would like to ask for the cooperation of our guests to bring their own toiletries.
If you forget to bring your own amenities, please ask at the front desk and we will provide them to you in accordance with our regulations.

About the food
This plan comes with an "Ingredient Set" perfect for your stay, which is on sale at the Denmari General Front Desk.
The set of ingredients for Amami home cooking can be easily prepared and served at any time of the day for three meals, depending on your itinerary. The set includes recipes from the island's amma (mothers). Enjoy the taste of island life.

In addition, we aim to operate a facility that is close to the sea by recommending the use of non-plastic materials for all equipment used, including tableware and facilities.

・Denpaku does not spray excessive chemicals to kill insects, out of concern for environmental impact.
However, since there are insects in the environment, please bring your own insect repellent if you are concerned about insects.

A peaceful inn surrounded by the sounds of the mountains and the sea.
In the spring of 2022, a new inn was born in the village of Yani, near the northernmost tip of Amami Oshima. The symbolic coral stone wall is one of Amami's unique architectural formulas, but it is a treasure of the island that cannot be newly built now from the viewpoint of environmental consideration. From the garden trees that have been carefully pruned for generations, one can feel the history of the people who lived here. Because it is a small village, it is also close to the crystal clear sea, and it is not difficult to see shooting stars in the clear starry sky at night. Enjoy the island time flowing slowly as you feel the rich chirping of birds and the voices of gardens and mountains on the wind.
