Notice of the introduction of accommodation tax in Gero City

Thank you very much for considering making a reservation at Gero Onsen Fugaku.

Due to the revision of the Gero City ordinance, the accommodation tax will be levied as follows from October 1, 2025.

"Accommodation charge" here refers only to the overnight stay and other related service charges, and does not include meals, consumption tax, etc.

*Those under the age of 12 (including those who are 12 years old but still in elementary school) are not subject to taxation.

Please note that even if you make a reservation before October 1, 2025, the accommodation tax will be applied to stays after October 1, 2025.

You can experience true Japan dining culture by enjoying Kaiseki dinner and breakfast at Riverside Modern Japanese Tatami (Non-smoking Room).
 (In-room dining has considered the highest hospitality in Japan)
Japanese Full-Course is including 10 main and side dishes which with Hida beef and Sashimi etc.
All Hida Beef are using A5-A4 grade. (A5 is highest grade beef in Japan and we are an official member to provide Hida Beef.)
(Contents of Kaiseki dinner will be graded for this special room)
We also have 2 Open-air onsen bath and 2 Indoor onsen baths for all our guests
