Hotel Grandmer Sankaiso is located approximately 25 minutes by car from Aomori Spring Ski Resort, making it a convenient base for your ski or snowboard trip in Aomori.

A reservation-only shuttle service between the hotel and the ski resort is also available.

Spend the day enjoying Aomori's powder snow, then return to the hotel to relax in a Japanese onsen overlooking the Sea of Japan. After warming up in the hot spring, enjoy local cuisine, sake, drinks, and our all-inclusive hotel experience.

Guests can also visit the hot spring baths at our nearby sister property, Ajigasawa Onsen Suigun no Yado, a charming Japanese-style inn with a completely different atmosphere.

About Aomori Spring Ski Resort

Located on the slopes of Mt. Iwaki, the highest mountain in Aomori Prefecture, Aomori Spring Ski Resort is known for its dry powder snow, abundant snowfall, and beautiful natural surroundings.

Surrounded by native beech forests, the resort offers a variety of terrain, with runs extending up to approximately 3.5 km.

Whether you are skiing, snowboarding, or simply enjoying the snowy landscape of northern Japan, Aomori Spring is an excellent winter destination.

① Children Stay Free

Children of elementary school age and younger can stay free of charge with this plan, including meals and bedding.

② Children's One-Day Lift Ticket Included

Each child will receive one one-day lift ticket per night of stay. For example, a child staying for two nights will receive two one-day lift tickets.

Lift tickets are normally provided at check-in. Guests planning to ski before check-in may also receive the ticket in advance.

※Lift tickets for adults are not included in this plan.

③ Hot Spring Access After Check-Out

Guests staying on this plan may continue to enjoy the hot springs even after check-out.

From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, guests may use the hot spring at our sister property, Ajigasawa Onsen Suigun no Yado.

One of the highlights of your stay is the opportunity to experience two different hot spring atmospheres.

At Hotel Grandmer Sankaiso, relax in our natural hot spring while enjoying the open atmosphere of our seaside location overlooking the Sea of Japan.

During your stay, you may also visit the hot spring baths at our sister property, Ajigasawa Onsen Suigun no Yado, a Japanese-style inn located nearby, featuring a distinctive boat-shaped open-air bath.

Guests staying at Hotel Grandmer Sankaiso may use the hot spring baths at Suigun no Yado at no additional charge.

Marugoto Aomori Original Buffet

Enjoy our original buffet featuring seasonal ingredients and flavors from Aomori.

Fresh sashimi, freshly prepared tempura from the open kitchen, and a variety of hot and cold dishes are served at their best.

A selection of fresh seafood is served on our signature “Tairyo-bune” fishing boat.

You can also enjoy dishes featuring locally raised Ito, a rare freshwater fish cultivated in the pristine waters flowing from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Shirakami-Sanchi. Its delicate flavor and tender texture make it a unique taste of Ajigasawa.

Drinks including beer, wine, highballs, and local sake are included with dinner.

Local selections include Ando Suigun, brewed by Ozaki Shuzo, a long-established sake brewery in Ajigasawa using pure water from the Shirakami Mountains.

Breakfast

Start your morning with a Japanese and Western-style buffet featuring local ingredients and regional specialties.

Freshly prepared dishes from our open kitchen include fluffy Japanese rolled omelets, freshly fried Igamenchi squid fritters, French toast, and more.

Natural Hot Spring

Activities During Your Stay

Private baths, karaoke rooms, and table tennis can be reserved through our in-house reservation system from 3:00 PM on the day of use.

Board games, Mölkky, coloring activities, and other casual activities are also available.
