Japanese-Western style room "Kangetsutei"

In March 2022, we renovated 6 of our 8 rooms, including Kangetsu-tei, which faces the largest garden in our hotel, into Japanese-Western rooms with balconies.

The Western-style room connected to the main room has a semi-double twin bed. It is a spacious and luxurious space.

From the balcony, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the well-maintained garden and the changing seasons of Hokuriku.

Guest room: "Main room + bedroom + balcony"

View: You can view the "garden" from the guest room or balcony (some rooms have a difficult view)

Enjoy our spacious public bath filled with an open and relaxing atmosphere, as well as an outdoor bath surrounded by beautiful garden stones.
We also offer the popular tourmaline stone spa bath, available free of charge with no reservation required.

In February 2025, our long-awaited Garden Sauna officially opened!
Experience an authentic Finnish-style smoke sauna complete with a cold-water bath, open-air bathing area, and relaxing “totonoi” chairs for cooling down outdoors.
Enjoy the ultimate “löyly” sauna experience and refresh both body and mind.

The sauna is available on a rotating schedule for men and women.

*Important Information Before Booking
Please note that our ryokan does not have an on-site restaurant. Guests wishing to add meals are kindly requested to contact us at least 3 days before arrival.
Traditional room attendant service is not provided, and tea service in guest rooms is unavailable.
Depending on your arrival time, futon bedding may be prepared in advance before check-in. (Please contact us regarding your expected check-in time.)
The latest check-in time is 9:00 PM. However, complimentary shuttle service from JR Awara Onsen Station and Echizen Railway Awara-Yunomachi Station is available only between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Late check-out until 10:30 AM available (normally 10:00 AM)

[Regarding Children]
For infants/young children, the "No Bedding" fee of JPY 2,200 applies to children aged 1 year and older.
Children under 1 year old stay free of charge.
