During this construction, you will be unable to see outside from your room.

■Important Notes for Your Stay

□This is a self-service stay plan in the Hot Spring Retreat Wing. □Please note that the services provided in the main ryokan building are not available with this plan.

□Check-in is required by 5:00 PM.

□Room escort service from the front desk is not provided.

□There is no room attendant, and guests are kindly asked to lay out their own futon bedding.

□Meals are served in bento style and cannot be customized for food allergies.

□Guests staying in the main ryokan building and those in the Hot Spring Retreat Wing cannot dine together.

□Additional amenities, towel replacements, and ice are available for a fee.

□Our staff will not enter your room during your stay.

□This plan is for individual travelers and families only. Group bookings for parties or banquets are not accepted.

This plan offers a reasonably priced stay in the Hot Spring Retreat Wing at Houshi.

While the fully self-service format may seem less convenient at first, it allows for a relaxed, unhurried experience with complete privacy—one of the unique features of a traditional onsen retreat. We warmly invite you to enjoy the healing waters of our historic hot spring at your own pace.

■Dinner and Breakfast

Dinner and breakfast are served in bento-style in the designated dining area.

Dinner includes a traditional Japanese bento featuring tempura, sashimi, and grilled items, accompanied by chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) and a beef steak.

Breakfast also consists of a Japanese-style bento.

If you prefer, you are welcome to enjoy your meals in your room. Please carry your bento from the dining area yourself, and return the empty dishes to the dining area by 7:30 PM.

Dinner hours: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Breakfast hours: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM

Please note: This plan does not accommodate food allergies.

If you expect to check in after 5:00 PM, please contact us in advance.

　 Kindly note that dinner cannot be served after 7:00 PM.

□ Meals for Children: For elementary school children: Same bento meal as adults.

 (A kids’ meal can be arranged instead—please notify us by the day before if you wish to change.)

For toddlers: A kids’ meal will be served (breakfast will be the same as the adult meal).

 

■ For Consecutive Stays

For guests staying three nights or more, housekeeping will be provided once every three days.

Amenities and towels are provided once per day. Additional items are available for an extra charge.

Please note that lunch is not provided. Feel free to ask the front desk for information about nearby restaurants or convenience stores.

During the daytime, please note that the large public bath and some other facilities may be temporarily unavailable.

25 minutes from Kaga IC. 20 minutes by car from Kaga Onsen Station. Shuttle service is available from Kagaonsen Station and Awazu Station (advance reservation required).
