Located on the top floor of the main building, this is the most prestigious suite in our hotel.
Facing Tendo's landmark, Mount Maizuru, this special suite is a luxurious connecting room that combines a special VIP room with three premium bedrooms.
The special VIP room was designed and supervised by the Kenmochi Design Institute in 1983. It features custom-made furniture from Tendo Woodcraft (Tendo City), luxurious Oriental carpets from Yamabe Town, and paintings by Master Tadaichi Konno (Tendo City). We hope you'll take your time to savor the essence of Yamagata's culture, art, and craftsmanship embodied in this space.
Moreover, this room is reserved for use by the Imperial Family when they stay with us.

This special room faces the Tendo landmark, "Maizuru Mountain," and features a luxurious connecting suite comprising the Imperial Suite and three premium bedrooms.
The Imperial Suite was designed and supervised by the renowned Kenmochi Design Institute in 1983. The room is furnished with custom-made furniture by Tendo Mokko (Tendo City), carpets by Oriental Carpet (Yamanobe Town), and paintings by the esteemed artist Tadaichi Konno (Tendo City). This room embodies the finest cultural, artistic, and craftsmanship traditions of Yamagata, offering a space where you can savor every detail.
Additionally, this suite has been used by members of the Imperial family during their stays.

Relax in a private bath with 100% natural hot spring water from Tendo Onsen. The bath features two rooms: the charming "Sakuranbo" (Cherry) bath with a red tub and the "Koma" bath shaped like Tendo’s famous shogi pieces.

Reservations should be made up to three months in advance.
For dining, we recommend "Chogetsu Kaiseki HAYAMA" on the same floor. Enjoy the flavors of Yamagata’s seasonal delicacies in a serene atmosphere.
