On October 10, 2025, our long-awaited new guest room officially opened.

This traditional Japanese-style room with beds overlooks Yamagata’s beautiful mountains and features a rooftop terrace equipped with a private sauna, cold plunge bath, and open-air bath.

In addition to the view of Mount Maizuru, on clear days you can also enjoy a magnificent panorama stretching as far as the Asahi mountain range and Mount Gassan.

Surrounded by peaceful silence in harmony with nature, you can soak in warm water, feel the gentle breeze, and unwind with every deep breath—bringing calm and balance to both body and mind.

This is a special space where the luxury of staying in a private villa meets modern comfort while preserving the elegance of Japanese style.

About sauna attire
We recommend wearing swimwear or sauna wear when using the sauna.
A sauna poncho is provided in the room.
Rental sauna items are also available for an additional fee.
You are also welcome to bring your own swimwear or sauna wear.

Please note:
The open-air bath in the guest room is not fed by natural hot spring water and uses heated water instead.
You can enjoy our natural hot springs in the public bath area inside the hotel or at our private garden bath, Yu-an.
