At "HOTARUTEI," a traditional Japanese restaurant that has been modernized from a farmhouse with over 170 years of history, you can enjoy a luxurious dinner course featuring seasonal vegetables and locally sourced ingredients from Nagano. For breakfast, choose your preferred style from a selection of Western and Japanese cuisines.
◇Facility Overview◇
Our facility, which opened in March 2023, is a newly born luxury private villa available for exclusive bookings. With a spacious area exceeding 100 square meters, it includes a relaxing living area, an open terrace, a natural hot spring open-air bath, and two bedrooms, all equipped with luxurious amenities. You can relax in harmony with nature during your stay.
Additionally, the villa features a mini-kitchen and a washing machine, making it convenient for long-term stays or families with children, ensuring a comfortable stay without any meal or laundry hassles.
Our facility is located at the base of the popular Shiga Kogen Ski Resort known for its natural snow, and the Jigokudani Monkey Park, famous for its snow monkeys, is within walking distance. It's also recommended as a base for sightseeing in areas such as Zenkoji Temple, which houses Japan's oldest Buddhist statue, and Obuse, known for chestnut confectionery and the Katsushika Hokusai Museum.
