"Yu-so" refers to the "just right" temperature when boiling water for a tea ceremony.
For a moment of hospitality, guests are carefully monitored to ensure the water is boiling and the tea is served at the optimum temperature.
We have combined this spirit of the tea ceremony with the spirit of cuisine and hospitality that we cherish.
With this plan, you will be treated to Daiichi Hoteru's highest quality Japanese meal, made with the most luxurious ingredients.
Please relax and enjoy the food in this special dining area reserved for only seven groups of guests.

【Accommodation Tax】
Starting from April 1, 2026, a separate accommodation tax will be charged in accordance with Hokkaido and Sapporo City regulations.
The accommodation tax is the following amount per person per night (including children):
Room rate under 20,000 yen: 300 yen
Room rate between 20,000 and 50,000 yen: 400 yen
Room rate over 50,000 yen: 1,000 yen

【Dinner】
Enjoy Daiichi Hoteru's highest-grade Japanese meal, "Ichi" (30,000 yen course), at our special restaurant, "Yuso Shichiseki."
Please note that we cannot accommodate guests with wheat allergies, seafood allergies, or vegetarians.

【Breakfast】
Japanese cuisine will be served in the dining area.

【36-Hour Stay Program】
If you're planning a two-day, one-night trip, you'll spend about 20 hours at the ryokan. "Because your trip is so important, we want you to enjoy every moment, from the beginning to the end." With that in mind, we launched the "36-Hour Stay Program."

From 11:00, you can use the lounge, hot springs, and sauna at the adjacent "Holiday Building" at no additional charge.
You can also use the lounge at "Jozankei Daiichi Hotel Suizantei" from 1:00 PM (your room is available from 3:00 PM).

You can use the hot springs and sauna at "Yumoto Koganeyu" (about a 10-minute drive) at no additional charge until 11:00 PM.

【Main Lounge "Ichi"】
Although it is self-service, we offer free coffee and tea. Depending on the time of day, you may also enjoy small sweets from "Hare to Ke Western Confectionery Shop." Please feel free to relax in your favorite spot.

【Furoya Bookstore】
There is a bookstore within the inn. Approximately 2,500 selected books are lined up, and you can purchase any books you find that interest you. Enjoy discovering new books while traveling and immersing yourself in a book just like you would in a bath.

[Detached bathhouse "Morinoyu" (private reservations available for a fee)]
"Morinoyu" is a detached bathhouse where you can simply enjoy a bath in the pristine scenery surrounded by nature. Both the indoor and outdoor baths are private and feature rich hot spring water. Enjoy the rustling of trees swaying in the wind, the chirping of birds, and the sense of freedom in the forest.
Usage Hours: Private time from 3:30 PM until 2 AM (last admission) (3,850 yen for 60 minutes), free from 6 AM to 10 AM the following morning

[Private Sauna "Suizan Netsuba" (fee applies)]
We have a private sauna that you can rent out for a relaxing soak with your family or couple. The sauna room is spacious and comfortable. The mountain cool-off with a view of Mount Yuhidake is exceptional. (Self-louvering is also possible.)

[Free Shuttle Bus Information]
Departs and arrives in front of Showa Building, Odori Nishi 5-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo
[Pick-up] Departs Odori Nishi 5-chome at 2:40 PM and 5:00 PM
[Drop-off] Departs Suizantei at 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM
