We would like to announce that Chef Takahiro Ofuchi, the Head Chef of Hotel kamosu mori,
will be transferring to our sister property, Sake hotel Tamakiya, effective January 18, 2026.
 
The final dining experience under Chef Ofuchi and Manager Sakurai will be on January 17, 2026.
We sincerely hope you will have the opportunity to visit us before then.
 
A New Culinary Chapter
Hotel kamosu mori will then welcome Chef Akira Kuriyama from the current Sake hotel Tamakiya.
With this change, the cuisine will transition from Italian to French, marking a fresh start as "Auberge kamosu mori".

【Dinner】
Enjoy our Seasonal Course, starring fresh, seasonal Niigata ingredients, prepared by our Executive Chef Akira Kuriyama, who was awarded a one-star rating for French cuisine in "the Michelin Guide Niigata Special Edition".
 
Dinner for all guests starts simultaneously at 6:30 PM.
*Please note that if you are unable to arrive on time or need to leave early, you may not be able to enjoy the full course. We appreciate your understanding.

*This is a full course meal designed to be enjoyed slowly over approximately 2 to 3 hours.

【For Guests Considering Consecutive Stays】
 
*Currently, we offer the kamosu mori course dinner for a single night only.
For guests planning a consecutive stay, we recommend our casual "Shabu-Shabu Set" as an alternative to enjoy a different dining atmosphere.
We also suggest combining your stay with a visit to our sister inns in the same Matsunoyama Onsen area: "Sake no Yado Tamakiya" and "Ponshu Hotel Suimu."

Seasonal Course: Guests 10 years of age and older who can enjoy the entire course with the adults. (Child pricing is not available.)
Shabu-Shabu Plan: Guests 6 years of age and older.

Our breakfast is a heartwarming Japanese-style set meal featuring local cuisine, rich in Satoyama vegetables from the surrounding area. Enjoy miso soup made with kamosu mori's matured miso, alongside locally grown "Kurokura Koshihikari rice".
 
 
【Onsen】
 
Matsunoyama Onsen is a gentle sulfur spring known for promoting melanin metabolism and providing benefits for beautiful skin, all while offering stunning views of the grand natural surroundings.

【A Gentle Request】
 
*We have carefully renovated and preserved the traditional buildings rooted in Matsunoyama. Due to the construction that utilizes the original charm, footsteps and voices may echo easily.
*We ask for your cooperation to ensure all guests can enjoy a comfortable stay.
*As we are surrounded by nature, small insects may occasionally enter your room.
To ensure all guests can fully enjoy the dining experience, the "Seasonal Course" is offered to guests aged 10 and over.
