We would like to announce that Chef Takahiro Ofuchi, the Head Chef of Hotel kamosu mori,
will be transferring to our sister property, Sake hotel Tamakiya, effective January 18, 2026.
 
The final dining experience under Chef Ofuchi and Manager Sakurai will be on January 17, 2026.
We sincerely hope you will have the opportunity to visit us before then.
 
A New Culinary Chapter
Hotel kamosu mori will then welcome Chef Akira Kuriyama from the current Sake hotel Tamakiya.
With this change, the cuisine will transition from Italian to French, marking a fresh start as "Auberge kamosu mori".

Dinner is a course of locally produced Italian cuisine
Breakfast is a Japanese set meal made by local mothers with affectinate

"kamosu" means "brew"
Just as rice, koji and yeast come together to create wonderful sake,
we "kamosu a new you" with a wide variety of sake, locally produced ingredients and the great outdoors that feels so close to you.

In a sophisticated dining area overlooking the forests and mountains,
We serve Italian food with plenty of Niigata ingredients.
We also have a pairing menu selected by a sommelier from a wide selection of sake and wine.

A villa building limited to one group per day. A two-story villa a little away from the main building
The 1st floor is an outdoor BBQ space with sofas and tables. The second floor is a open-air bath and living room overlooking the mountains and forests
In addition to dinner in the dining room, you can bring your own meat and vegetables and have a BBQ
You can also use the hot spring "Jomon no Yu" at kamosu mori Main Building.
