In the Umegae Room, the Ichinoma (first room) is reached through a crawl-through entrance with Japanese paper from the step-in, and the Honma (main room) is located at the back of the room. 
From the Honma, one can see maple, plum, white oak, and moti trees all around the window. Especially from mid-February to early March, plum blossoms bloom, hence the name of the room.

The public space, which is more spacious than other rooms, is another reason why this room is preferred.

Please enjoy the elegant flow of time in a space of serene sukiya and modern taste.
