Autumn leaves, plum trees, white oaks, and moti trees are grown in the garden overlooked by the Kagaribi Room.

Each tree is individually cared for, and the garden is based on the idea of living architecture and can be seen from every window.

In the Honma (main room), guests can enjoy their own view of the garden by raising and lowering the yukimi shouji, which can be used as a frame to create a single picture of the garden, a feature unique to Kyoto.

You can enjoy music or reading in the 2-tatami-mat sukiya-style study.
