A space based on "red," using vermilion antique furniture, Negoro lacquer vases and crafts as interior decor
A private villa with an open-air bath and terrace, closest to the Kuzuryu River and overlooking rice paddies.
The guest rooms are supervised and art curated by Koichi Uchida, a ceramic artist and sculptor who has traveled the world and knows beauty inside and out, from crafts to antiques and contemporary art.
The theme is "adult" and "authenticity."
With a black base that harmonizes with the adjacent, the villa's appearance, which makes extensive use of Shakudani stone from Fukui Prefecture, evokes a sense of calm and tranquility. The guest rooms are divided into three types of villas. We offer a total of eight rooms, each with a different concept. From antique art representing Fukui, such as Echizen ware and Echizen lacquerware, to works by modern and contemporary artists, and folk art from all over the world, high-quality art from all times and places blends together, allowing you to fully enjoy the world of "mitate," which is at the core of the Japanese aesthetic sense. All rooms are equipped with a semi-open-air bath and a spacious terrace. We promise you a comfortable stay. ※Children under junior high school age are not permitted to stay in these rooms.
