The rooms are furnished with traditional Japanese furniture such as chests of drawers, old Echizen pottery made locally since the Middle Ages, and folk art pieces by Keisuke Serizawa and Shoji Hamada. Guest rooms where you can experience the simple yet impactful "Wa" (Japanese style) up close.

The guest rooms are supervised and art curated by Koichi Uchida, a ceramic artist and sculptor who has traveled the world and knows beauty from crafts to antiques and contemporary art.

The villa's design, based on a black color scheme that harmonizes with the adjacent ESHIKOTO, and featuring abundant use of Shakudani stone from Fukui Prefecture, evokes a sense of calm and tranquility.
The guest rooms are divided into three types of villas, each with a different concept, offering a total of eight rooms.
From antique art representing Fukui, such as Echizen ware and Echizen lacquerware, to works by modern and contemporary artists, and folk art from around the world, high-quality art from all times and places blends together, allowing you to fully enjoy the world of "mitate," which is at the core of the Japanese aesthetic.
All rooms are equipped with a semi-open-air bath and a spacious terrace. We promise you a comfortable stay.
