Japanese-Style Room, 12 Tatami — with Open-Air Bath

The same layout, the same size and the same view as our standard 12-tatami room. What is different is the bath in your room. The tub is Shigaraki ware, a warm and rustic Japanese pottery, and it is filled with clear radon spring water. A window wall opens onto the mountain side, with Mt. Ochibayama in front of you.

You can bathe whenever you like, as often as you like, without watching the clock for the public baths.

Please note that this is a different spring from the public baths. Kinpa-no-yu and Ginpa-no-yu are filled with the reddish-brown “gold spring” (kinsen) from our own source on the grounds; the water in your room is clear and colourless.
