This is the Kurofune Hotel's most popular Kaiseki cuisine, incorporating local seasonal flavors.

If you come to Izu, this is the first thing you should try! "Dancing Grilled Abalone" *One per person

The seasonal vegetable stew also includes boiled alfonsino, a Shimoda specialty.

Appetizers, soup, sashimi, vinegared dishes, rice dishes...

A Kaiseki meal where you can enjoy "local produce" and "the bounty of the sea and mountains unique to Izu" all at once.

 

 * Meals from the second night onwards will be left to the discretion of the hotel

Geihin Restaurant KUROFUNE

A Japanese-style dining restaurant inspired by the sea that spreads out before you.

Facing Shimoda Port and surrounded by islands of various shapes,

a place that weaves the story of the encounter between the land and the sea.

At Kurofune Hotel, located right in front of the place where the Kurofune docked in 1854,

you can feel the history and spend a comfortable time.

Enjoy the resort atmosphere while tasting fresh ingredients and dishes nurtured by the rich sea.

Start your day with a ryokan's Japanese meal. When you think of Izu, you think of delicious dried fish. We offer dishes that go well with simmered dishes and hot rice, and we also offer rice accompaniments. The basic menu is a Japanese set meal. (During the Cherry Blossom Festival and Spring Break, breakfast may be a Japanese-style buffet. You cannot choose as it is left to the hotel.)

Instead of using high temperatures to warm your skin,

it is a moderate temperature that "gently" warms you up from the inside out and makes you "warm" from the core of your body. You can pour the bath over yourself sparingly♪
