Enjoy a stay away from the hustle and bustle at our hotel surrounded by greenery in Joshinetsu National Park.
Shima Onsen offers seasonal scenery, from the fresh greenery of early summer, to the autumn leaves, to the silvery world of winter.
You can use the hot springs as much as you like until 10am the next morning! You can also use them at night.
Deck chairs are provided in the open-air bath.
You can enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content.

You can choose to have only breakfast or only dinner,
Recommended for those who want to visit the shops in Shima Onsen for dinner, or those who want to sleep in in the morning!
Dinner at Dining Shimano-ne on the first floor and a tour of the shops in Shima Onsen.
Enjoy Okkirikomi Udon, sushi, French cuisine, yakitori, and more!
You can also make your own food in our shared kitchen!
*Some restaurants require advance reservations. Please note that some restaurants also have shorter opening hours.

*Our dining room's dinner hours are 18:00-21:00 (LO 20:30).

 

＜Hot Springs＞

Shima Onsen is also known as Kusatsu's after-bath, and is characterized by its soft spring water, which is very good for the skin and contains a lot of metasilicic acid, which has a high skin-beautifying effect.
Our hot springs are a blend of two hot springs from Shima's sources, "Yamadori no Yu" and "Yuno Izumi".
A luxurious natural hot spring with water that is more than 50 years old. Enjoy the soft water that contains sodium and calcium.
