The following accommodation tax will be levied on guests staying in Takayama City from October 1, 2025.

  • In the premium lounge “Black”, you can spend a moment as if you were at the hearth edge of the World Heritage Site “Shirakawa-go”.
  • The premium lounge offers not only snacks but also light meals. Deliciousness overflows from the small plates.
  • Terrace seating in the Premium Lounge. Refreshing in the warm season.
  • How about changing into a yukata and walking around town? We have women's and men's yukata, as well as geta (wooden clogs).
  • Old streets with an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you have stepped back in time. It is also perfect for a stroll in yukata or kimono.
  • Hida-no-sato” is the best place to see Gassho-Zukuri in Takayama City. If you do not have time to visit the World Heritage Site Shirakawa-go, please visit here.
  • Hida Takayama's famous “Midarashi Dango”. The soy sauce-flavored dumplings are charred to a golden brown and have an appetizing aroma.

No dinner and breakfast.
This is an overnight stay plan with no meals.
This plan is recommended for those who want to choose their own meals or those who want to spend their time freely without worrying about meal times at the inn.
It is only a 3-minute walk from ICHIRYU to the old streets. Please enjoy walking around eating and tasting local sake.

All of the spacious rooms are equipped with a half-open-air bath.
Three hot spring baths are available for private use.

[Iwafune] and [Araki] ... Can be used if available. Availability can be checked from the room with a QR code.
[Miyagawa] ... Reservation required (every hour from 00 minutes to 45 minutes). Please make a reservation at the front desk in advance or on the day.

We also have two premium lounges where you can enjoy beverages and snacks free of charge.
"BASE" lounge provides information about Hida. "Black" lounge is a space like a private house in Shirakawa-go, a World Heritage Site, where you can watch original movies of the Hida region beside “Irori”(sunken heart).

The number of tourists in Hida Takayama is increasing every year, and restaurants in town are getting crowded and queuing.
Please consider making a reservation for the meal plan, as we offer a course meal using seasonal ingredients for dinner and a Japanese set meal with a variety of side dishes to go with rice for breakfast, served in a private room for you to enjoy at your leisure.

[Age Limitations for Children]
We would like to value a “relaxing time for adults only,” so we accept children from junior high school age and older (13 years old and up). Our sister hotel, "Spa Hotel ALPINA Hida Takayama", accepts children of any age. This 119-room hotel offers a panoramic view of the city of Takayama from its top-floor observatory bath. Please consider us when traveling with children.
