The following accommodation tax will be levied on guests staying in Takayama City from October 1, 2025.

  • Private bath [Araki] ...Can be used if available. Availability can be checked from the room with a QR code.
  • In the premium lounge “Black”, you can watch videos full of attractions of the Hida region on a large monitor.
  • Please spend a delicious and enjoyable time with your loved ones.
  • How about changing into a yukata and walking around town? We have women's and men's yukata, as well as geta (wooden clogs).
  • Old streets with an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you have stepped back in time. It is also perfect for a stroll in yukata or kimono.
  • [Red Nakabashi Bridge and Spring Cherry Blossoms] The best time to see the cherry blossoms is around April 20. You can enjoy the cherry blossoms for about 5 to 10 days before and after.

We are a quiet ryokan for adults, located in the best area for sightseeing in Hida Takayama.
Enjoy a relaxing stay in a room with a mini-bar or in a private bath, or spend a pleasant time in our premium lounge.
This plan includes dinner and breakfast, and is the best way to enjoy ICHIRYU to the fullest.

Meals are served in a private room at the restaurant [168(Iroha)-tei] in a separate building.
A wide selection of Japanese sake and wine is available for you to enjoy with our delicate and beautiful cuisine.
Breakfast, the source of your energy for the day, is a wide array of side dishes that will make you feel like you've lost your chopsticks.

More than half of the 11 guest rooms are suites.
Each room has its own character in terms of size and décor, and is spacious and relaxing.
All rooms have a half-open-air bath that can be enjoyed by opening the window.
There are also three private hot spring baths on the first floor.

[Iwafune] and [Araki] ... Can be used if available. Availability can be checked from the room with a QR code.
[Miyagawa] ... Reservation required (every hour from 00 minutes to 45 minutes). Please make a reservation at the front desk in advance or on the day.

We also have two premium lounges where you can enjoy beverages and snacks free of charge.
"BASE" lounge provides information about Hida. "Black" lounge is a space like a private house in Shirakawa-go, a World Heritage Site, where you can watch original movies of the Hida region beside “Irori”(sunken heart).

We would like to value a “relaxing time for adults only,” so we accept children from junior high school age and older (13 years old and up). Our sister hotel, "Spa Hotel ALPINA Hida Takayama", accepts children of any age. This 119-room hotel offers a panoramic view of the city of Takayama from its top-floor observatory bath. Please consider us when traveling with children.
