Over the past year, Yoshoku Ogata has become a frequent destination for star-rated chefs from Tokyo.

One reason is, of course, their enviable sources of ingredients—fish from Sasue Maeda Fish Shop in Yaizu and premium meats from Sakaeya in Minami-Kusatsu. Yet what truly sets them apart is how these select ingredients are elevated through meticulous thought and creativity, resulting in dishes that go far beyond the conventional notion of “yōshoku” (Japanese-Western Fusion cuisine).

Classics such as fried horse mackerel (aji fry) or pork ginger may sound familiar, but guests are consistently astonished: “This is aji fry? Wait—this is pork ginger?” Even as they reinvent beloved favorites, Yoshoku Ogata continues to serve timeless yoshoku staples with care and authenticity.

At our in-house counter-style restaurant, Mugen, we invite you to immerse yourself in the unique culinary world of Yoshoku Ogata. We look forward to welcoming you.

Rice cooked in a kettle, warm miso soup, and a variety of main and side dishes will leave you feeling satisfied and energized in the morning.

 

※We are unable to accommodate vegetarian menus (except for pesco-vegetarian), complete seafood allergies, gluten-free meals, or religious dietary requirements such as halal or kosher food.

 

【Hot Spring】

Public hot spring is available from 15:00-24:00 and 5:00-10:00 the following morning.

Private hot spring is available in each guest room.

You can indulge in a luxurious bathing experience exclusive to Madoka no Mori, featuring two private hot spring sources with an abundance of natural hot water.

・Access to Bar is not authorized by law for guests under the age of 20. Guests under the age of 20 may not enter even if accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

・Please highlight any food allergies or dietary requirements as early as possible. We will endeavor to meet your needs however this may not be possible should you have
