【ONOMICHI STAY】"Bou" House of Shimazui Manor with terrace Standard Plan

We revived this traditional machiya or “wooden townhouse” in order to preserve and protect such historical buildings for the next generation.
This house of Shimazui features Semi-Western style architecture that dates back to the early Showa period (about 1930).

The kitchen has been prepared for your stay and is stocked with cookware as well as basic cooking ingredients. 
If you wish please enjoy cooking meals here with the foods and drinks you’ve found shopping around Onomichi City. 

*It's a 15-minute walk from JR Onomichi Station.
*It is located on the way up the staircase leading to the Senkoji-Temple.
*Climb 104 steps stairs.
