Our Annex is a former storehouse that has been completely renovated.
The unique bathroom design draws inspiration from the stately architecture of the original building, while the hallway has an art-gallery-like feel. A cozy Tatami room upstairs provides a secluded and peaceful space, much like a little secret base all to yourself.
With a record player provided in the room, you can create your own private atmosphere.
【Please note the following details about our hotel】
■Please be aware that our hotel is not wheelchair accessible, as it features stairs and large steps.
■The room lighting is kept to a minimum, and it may not be suitable for some guests.
■The building was formerly a private house, and sound insulation may not be as effective as in modern hotels. Please be considerate of others, especially at night.
■Smoking is prohibited on the premises, but our staff can provide information about nearby smoking areas if needed.
■All rooms are equipped with bath and toilet facilities.
■Please note that the Ohya rooms are only available for guests aged 13 and above.
■Activities■
① Walk and Explore Kosuge Village: Begins at 4:00 p.m.
Join a guided walk and experience the beauty of Kosuge village. Discover hidden local paths that are only known to the villagers. The course finishes at “Kosuge no Yu,” a hot spring facility where you can soak in the warm waters and unwind after your invigorating hike.
* No reservation is required. If you wish to join, please come to the check-in counter by 3:45 p.m.
* The walk includes unpaved roads. Be sure to come in comfortable shoes.
② Hot Spring: 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (Reception closes at 5:20 p.m.)
“Kosuge no Yu,” a hot spring facility, offers nine different bathtubs. It is available free of charge for our guests.
*Closed on Tuesday.
③ Lounge bar: 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Complementary local coffee, soft drink, wine, sake and snack is available in the lounge area.
④ Bonfire starts at 9:00 p.m.
We have a bonfire outside for 30 minutes every day.
*It will be canceled in the event of rain.
⑤ Cycling
Explore the beautiful surroundings with our complimentary electric bicycles. Get our exclusive map featuring hidden spots you won't find on foot.

Free pick-up and drop-off services are available only for guests staying at Ohya with advanced notice.
Departure time
From Otsuki Station to the Hotel: 2:40 p.m.
From the Hotel to Otsuki Station: 11:10 a.m.
It takes about 30 minutes between Otsuki station and Ohya.
*Please be on time, as we will depart at the scheduled time.
*We will pick you up in a white Hi-ace van with "NIPPONIA" written on each side of the vehicle. Please wait at the loop outside Otsuki Station's only exit.
■Parking■
Four free parking spaces are available for guests staying at Ohya.

*Please note that the parking lot is narrow, which may make it challenging to park. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in advance. We will do our best to assist you upon arrival.
