The rooms are located in the west wing of the Fujita Residence, a registered tangible cultural property of Japan. The living room and bedrooms retain the structure and atmosphere of a machiya (townhouse), and guests can enjoy a relaxing time while looking out over the courtyard with a view of the storehouse and tea ceremony room.
The garden where the "okudo-san" (rice-cooking stove) once stood has been turned into a tatami area where visitors can see tools used in daily life before World War II and tools related to the Nishijin textile industry.
The large windows overlooking the front yard of the west wing and the soft light coming in through the windows facing the street. Please relax in the bright and open space surrounded by wood. The natural tiles in the floor heating system are gentle and will keep you warm in winter.
The two "Okunoma" rooms facing the garden can be used as bedrooms with futons laid out. Together with the master bedroom, it can accommodate up to nine guests.
The master bedroom is furnished with a Simmons bed. The luxurious mattress is made of high-grade natural wool and is "beyond springs" for a comfortable night's sleep. The quilts are made of 100% cotton fabric and are made of the finest down.
A refrigerator, microwave oven, electric kettle, and a variety of glasses and tableware are available. Guests can enjoy meals, tea time, or private time in the evening with a view of the garden illuminated by the lights.
