The rooms are located in the west wing of the Fujita Residence, a registered tangible cultural property of Japan. The living room and bedrooms retain the structure and atmosphere of a machiya (townhouse), and guests can enjoy a relaxing time while looking out over the courtyard with a view of the storehouse and tea ceremony room.
The garden where the "okudo-san" (rice-cooking stove) once stood has been turned into a tatami area where visitors can see tools used in daily life before World War II and tools related to the Nishijin textile industry.
