This private traditional house, "Kanna," has been renovated from the former home of a ship carpenter and reflects the rich craftsmanship of Okawa.
Blending historical character with modern comfort, the house features furniture and furnishings crafted by local woodworkers, allowing guests to experience the warmth of wood while enjoying a stay in a historic townscape.
The house is arranged over two floors. The first floor includes a fully equipped kitchen, a hinoki cypress bath, and a toilet, while the bedrooms are located on the second floor. Guests are welcome to prepare meals using local ingredients in the kitchen.
Complimentary parking is available near the house for guests (4 spaces, no reservation required, first-come, first-served).
A staff member will assist with check-in at the property. The Guest Support Center is located approximately 200 meters away, about a 4-minute walk from the house.
Please note:
• The property contains stairs and level differences and is not wheelchair accessible.
• As the house is located within a residential neighborhood, please keep noise to a minimum after 9:00 PM.

Served in a handcrafted wooden box, breakfast includes freshly baked bread from a local bakery, seasonal dishes, and specialties made with traditional vinegar from Shobun Vinegar Brewery.

A light breakfast (bread, yogurt, and soup) is available for preschool children (under 6) for JPY 500. Please select this option when making your reservation.
Dinner is not included. Each house has a fully equipped kitchen, and we are happy to recommend nearby restaurants.

Our Reception & Guest Support Center is located approximately 200 meters from the accommodation.
Please enter the house using the password sent before your arrival. After entering, call the Reception, and a staff member will visit the house to complete your check-in.
