This private traditional house, "Kanna," has been renovated from the former home of a ship carpenter and reflects the rich craftsmanship of Okawa.
Blending historical character with modern comfort, the house features furniture and furnishings crafted by local woodworkers, allowing guests to experience the warmth of wood while enjoying a stay in a historic townscape.
The house is arranged over two floors. The first floor includes a fully equipped kitchen, a hinoki cypress bath, and a toilet, while the bedrooms are located on the second floor. Guests are welcome to prepare meals using local ingredients in the kitchen.
Complimentary parking is available near the house for guests (4 spaces, no reservation required, first-come, first-served).
A staff member will assist with check-in at the property. The Guest Support Center is located approximately 200 meters away, about a 4-minute walk from the house.

【RITA Okawa Hanjō】 is a whole-house rental accommodation carefully renovated from a traditional Japanese house built approximately 100 years ago.
Okawa City in Fukuoka Prefecture, where the inn is located, flourished during the Edo period as a center for wooden shipbuilding, and was home to many shipwrights and woodworkers. In particular, the Koho and Enatsu areas are known for preserving their artisan culture and traditional townscapes to this day.
The interior features furniture and furnishings crafted by Okawa’s woodworkers, allowing you to relax and enjoy the warmth of the wood.

The front desk (Support Center) is located approximately 200 meters from the guest rooms and parking lot.
Upon arrival, please enter the password we sent you in advance to access your room. Once inside, please call the front desk. A staff member will come to your room to complete the check-in procedure.
