Their components and effects are rich blessings of nature which cannot be created by human hands. Once an active hot spring spouts up through the surface of the earth, pressure is suddenly released. The spring comes into contact with oxygen, causing a variety of changes to appear. White and black “flowers” of sulfur that sway in the bath are solidified components of the spring, and are proof that it’s the real thing. After soaking in such a first-rate hot spring, you may feel sleepy. This is because the lovely fragrance and various components of the hot spring relieve the stiffness in your tired body and mind, and allow you to relax.
