Our breakfast is served in traditional Japanese style, featuring YUDOFU boiled tofu, grilled fish, Japanese omelette, vegetables, MISO soup, and rice. You can select your preferred breakfast time from the available options: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, or 9:00 AM. Enjoy your meal at our garden restaurant.

The YUGIRI Suite Garden Room offers a traditional Japanese-style experience with a spacious 20 tatami mats. This room features a garden steam sauna and bathroom, along with a washroom. It is designed as a maisonette（Connecting Room).Year Hotel Built: 1890.

In January 2025, we upgraded the Japanese futons in all guest rooms.The room spans an area of 70.10㎡ / 755ft² and includes the following spaces:
20 tatami mats main room, divided into a 10 tatami mats Japanese style room on the first floor and a 10 tatami mats room on the second floor with Sealy Twin Beds (W141 D203 H30).

This 70.10㎡ / 755ft² room harmoniously blends traditional Japanese design with modern luxuries.The main building was constructed in 1915, and this renovated maisonette room was introduced in April 2022, featuring a steam sauna. With views of the garden, the maisonette style room in the main building includes a 10 tatami mats Japanese style + Western room with two semi-double beds, a TYLOHELO steam sauna from Sweden, a shower, and a toilet. The en suite sauna oom boasts a large glass window, a bathtub made from Japanese cypress, and the soothing scent of cypress that drifts into the sauna room. Guests can enjoy the changing seasons of the garden from the bay window. The bathroom on the second floor with also features a traditional Japanese Hinoki wooden Furo soaking tub (50 gallons). This is a non-smoking hotel, however you may smoke on your room's balcony or terrace.

Official Decision on the Revision of Kyoto City Accommodation Tax (Effective March 1, 2026)
Kyoto City has conducted consultations with the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications under the Local Tax Act, following the approval of the revised ordinance at the February 2025 City Assembly concerning the revision of the accommodation tax.
As of today, the Minister’s consent has been obtained, and the revision of the accommodation tax — which raises certain tax rates in accordance with guests’ ability to pay — has been officially decided. The revised tax rates will take effect on March 1, 2026 (Reiwa 8).
Overview of the Revision
Effective March 1, 2026, Kyoto City will revise its accommodation tax rates based on the accommodation fee per person per night. The current rate of ¥200 will remain unchanged for stays costing less than ¥6,000. For stays between ¥6,000 and less than ¥20,000, a new tax rate of ¥400 will apply. For accommodation fees between ¥20,000 and less than ¥50,000, the tax will increase from ¥500 to ¥1,000. Guests staying at accommodations priced between ¥50,000 and less than ¥100,000 will see their tax rise significantly from ¥1,000 to ¥4,000, while those paying ¥100,000 or more per night will be subject to a new rate of ¥10,000 per person per night.
Meal charges are not included in the accommodation tax.
