Room Details:
The MATSU suite offers a traditional Japanese-style experience with a spacious 16 tatami mats. Situated on the second floor, this suite boasts a garden bathroom and a washroom.

Year Hotel Built: 1890.
Year Hotel Last Renovated: 2015.
In January 2025, we upgraded the Japanese futons in all guest rooms.

Notice of Terrace Repairs
From June 20 until early July, we will be carrying out repair work on the terraces of our main building’s TAKE and MATSU guest rooms. During this period, these terraces will be closed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

This 62.30㎡ / 670ft² room seamlessly blends traditional Japanese design with modern luxuries.

The bathroom features a traditional Japanese Hinoki wooden Furo soaking tub (320 gallons), providing an authentic and soothing bathing experience. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the traditional Japanese garden, "KARESANSUI," through sliding glass doors that lead to a balcony area.This is a non-smoking hotel, however you may smoke on your room's balcony or terrace.

Indulge in our exquisite Stay & Dine experience at Yachiyo, where you’ll enjoy a luxurious KAISEKI dinner course consisting of 12 to 13 dishes. The exact number of plates is determined by the essence of the season, the selection of ingredients, and the expertise of our chef.

The time of the Dinner can be chosen from the time of onset at PM17:00,17:30,18:00,18:30,19:00.
The room staff asks you the time of dinner .Please note, all dinners are served at our garden restaurant. In-Room Dining (Room Service): Additional cost of 3300JPN per person.

Yachiyo Breakfast : 3300JPN.
Our breakfast is served in traditional Japanese style, featuring YUDOFU boiled tofu, grilled fish, Japanese omelette, vegetables, MISO soup, and rice. You can select your preferred breakfast time from the available options: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, or 9:00 AM. Enjoy your meal at our garden restaurant.
Yachiyo is a famous (RYOTEI) restaurant in Kyoto. 
If you need breakfast during your stay, please make a reservation by email at least 3 days in advance.Meal reservations require a confirmation issued by us in this email.
