About the Lodging Tax
In accordance with Kyoto City ordinance, a room tax per person per night will be imposed from October 1, 2008.
(200 yen per person per night for a bill of less than 20,000 yen, 500 yen per person for a bill of 20,000 yen or more but less than 50,000 yen, and 1,000 yen per person for a bill of 50,000 yen or more).
