Winter Season Information

We offer convenient services to help you make the most of your winter stay in Echigo Yuzawa.

■ Ski & Snowboard Rentals
Ski wear and ski/snowboard equipment are available for rent at the ski house adjacent to Sakura-tei.
Enjoy the snow without the hassle of bringing all your own gear.
Advance reservations are not available. Rentals are available on the day only. Equipment is suitable for beginner to intermediate skiers and snowboarders.

■ Ski Resort Shuttle Buses from Our Hotel
From late December to late March (scheduled), a temporary winter bus stop will be located directly in front of our hotel, providing access to selected ski resort shuttle buses.
Please note that shuttle bus schedules, routes, and operating periods are subject to change.

This is a standard plan with 1 night and 2 meals, where you can relax and enjoy hot springs and meals in Echigo Yuzawa during winter.

For dinner, we offer creative kaiseki cuisine that allows you to enjoy the flavors of the season.
Breakfast is served buffet style, where you can enjoy a variety of Japanese and Western dishes.

Please also use this plan for your stay after enjoying skiing or playing in the snow.

Rice is Uonuma Koshihikari rice sourced directly from contracted farmers and cooked in a pot at your table!
Enjoy the seasonal flavors of Niigata.
　
◆Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet◆
We offer freshly cooked rice from Minami Uonuma Koshihikari, as well as a variety of seasonal ingredients and energetic breakfast dishes that evoke the spirit of Niigata.
*As a measure to reduce food waste, we may change the breakfast to a Japanese set meal without prior notice depending on the reservation situation.
*Both dinner and breakfast will be served in the dining area on the 2nd floor (chair and table seating).


＜Shuttle service from Echigo-Yuzawa Station available＞
We offer shuttle service between the west exit of Echigo-Yuzawa Station and the hotel.
Reservations are given priority, but on the day of your arrival, please call us after arriving at the station and we will come to pick you up.
Shuttle service is only available from the west exit, and is only available from 8:30 to 17:00. Please note this in advance.  

＜Hot Spring Information＞
Bathing hours: 15:00 to 10:00
The large public bath has both an indoor bath and an open-air bath for men and women. You can enjoy luxurious free-flowing hot spring water in the open-air bath. (The indoor bath uses a circulating filtration system.) The spring water is a weakly alkaline, hypotonic simple hot spring, which will warm you to the core. Please relax and enjoy the gentle hot springs of Echigo Yuzawa.

Elementary school students: 70% of the adult rate
Preschool children (with meals and bedding): 50% of the adult rate
Sharing a bed (under 2 years old): Free
*Free infants who can share a bed are under 3 years old.
*For children 3 years and older, please book as an infant with meals and bedding.


＜Cancellation Fees＞
Cancellation fees are as follows:
10 days prior: 20% of the accommodation fee
The day before: 50% of the accommodation fee
On the day: 100% of the accommodation fee
No-show without contact: 100% of the accommodation fee

We do not offer individual allergy accommodations for our course meals.
For our buffet, we provide tent cards for each dish displaying the seven major allergens, and additional information is provided for any necessary items.

[Information for the Winter Season]
・Ski wear and ski gear are available for rent at the ski house attached to Sakura-tei.
(No advance reservations are accepted; rentals are only available on the day of arrival. We handle gear for beginners to intermediate skiers.)
・From late December to late March, some ski resort shuttle buses are scheduled to operate from the temporary bus stop in front of our hotel. Please consider staying at our hotel, which is conveniently located for accessing the ski slopes.
