After graduating a master's degree from University of Tokyo, and Sintlucas Architecture (Belgium), he established Kubo Tsushima Architects. He works on architecture with a particular style that merges simplified airflow and design of light. his works have won him numerousawards such as the Selected Architectual Designs Young Architects Award of Architectual Institute of Japan.

The impressive moon-shaped light on the wall illuminates the room warmly. Changing of the phase of the moon, full or crescent, makes your mind relaxing.
