Awara Onsen in Fukui Prefecture opened in 1883.

The name of the hot spring at that time was "Juraku Onsen," and it is a high-quality natural hot spring with an abundant supply of water.

This famous hot spring, beloved by the poet Yosano Akiko, continues to fascinate people even today.
