Enjoy the seasonal delicacy of nemagari bamboo shoots, available only for a limited time each year.
Thanks to Shiga Kogen’s high elevation and significant temperature differences, the bamboo shoots grown here are known for being especially tender and naturally sweet compared to those from other regions.
We prepare these fresh seasonal ingredients in a variety of ways, including tempura, charcoal-grilled whole shoots, miso soup, and seasoned rice.
In particular, the whole grilled bamboo shoots can only be enjoyed when freshly harvested, making this a truly exclusive seasonal experience.

Meals may be served partially in buffet style depending on circumstances.
To help preserve the natural environment, bamboo shoot and wild vegetable picking by the general public (including hotel guests) is prohibited this season.
