Dinner

Sakura Shabu-Shabu with Horse Meat

Enjoy Sozankyo’s original Sakura Shabu-Shabu, featuring finely marbled horse meat gently cooked in a light, specially prepared broth.

Unlike traditional shabu-shabu, no ponzu or sesame sauce is used, allowing you to fully savor the rich umami and delicate flavor of the broth.

If you do not eat horse meat, you may change your main dish to Akaushi Shabu-Shabu.

If you would like to make this change, please indicate your preference in the remarks section when making your reservation or contact us by the day before your stay.

Your kaiseki dinner also features seasonal delicacies from Aso, including our signature whole grilled yamame trout, slowly grilled so that even the bones can be enjoyed, as well as simmered seasonal vegetables.
