Please note that infants and young children who are unable to eat a meal, such as lunch, are not permitted to use the restaurant dining area.

Dinner

Sakura Shabu-Shabu with Horse Meat

Enjoy Sozankyo’s original Sakura Shabu-Shabu, featuring finely marbled horse meat gently cooked in a light, specially prepared broth.

Unlike traditional shabu-shabu, no ponzu or sesame sauce is used, allowing you to fully savor the rich umami and delicate flavor of the broth.

If you do not eat horse meat, you may change your main dish to Akaushi Shabu-Shabu.

If you would like to make this change, please contact us by the day before your stay.

Your kaiseki dinner also features seasonal delicacies from Aso, including our signature whole grilled yamame trout, slowly grilled so that even the bones can be enjoyed, as well as simmered seasonal vegetables.

Please note that menu items may change without prior notice depending on ingredient availability and weather conditions.

Dinner will be served at Komorebi, our designer restaurant located on the first floor.
