This type of room was renovated in 2023, incorporating many traditional Ryokan features such as fusuma sliding doors, elegant decor, and refined craftmanship. 
At Sumiya Kiho-an, you can experience the harmony of both traditional and modern Japanese home style – all while relaxing in comfort. 
【Yama-no Iori】means a seclude place in the mountain where you can find tranquility, peace and quiet. 
【Uchi-Buro】means inside or indoor bath, it can also be called “Indoor Onsen Hot Spring bath”, a concept mean to let you fully use the Onsen even during the cold weather. 

The Onsen is an inside type of Onsen facing the base of the mountain. (It’s not an Open-air bath-type)
You can enjoy the comfort view of the mountain through the window, while taking a relaxing bath with natural spring water. This room type features two western style beds, without removing the elegance of a Japanese style room.

No-smoking and children/infant/baby cannot stay in the room.
