Hiroshima Prefecture Accommodation Tax Introduction

We are pleased to announce that Hiroshima Prefecture will be introducing an accommodation tax starting April 1, 2026 (for stays).

●The taxable items and tax amounts are as follows:

・For overnight stays (excluding tax) under ¥6,000: No accommodation tax will be charged.

・For overnight stays (excluding tax) over ¥6,000: A separate accommodation tax of ¥200 per person per night will be charged.

*The accommodation tax is separate from the accommodation fee and must be paid at the hotel upon check-in or payment.
