This annexed guest room was reconstructed from "Shirakawa-go's Gasho-dukuri," a world heritage site by experts with Hida's traditional construction method. Guests are welcomed to a cultural experience by sleeping in a futon in a special historical room.
Wanosato is a hidden inn limited to 8 groups per day, you can enjoy authentic Kaiseki cuisine.
We offer fresh seasonal river fish, local vegetables, and the highest grade A5 grade Hida beef meat.
Please enjoy Wanosato's pure Japanese cuisine to your heart's content.
We will gather around the hearth and serve kappo sake after dinner. Listen to some local stories and experience the traditional life of Japan.
The next morning, enjoy a Japanese breakfast filled with Hida's local cuisine, Hoha Miso, Hida-grown rice cooked in an earthenware pot, Gin no Amo, and mountain stream delicacies.

Due to popular demand, the hot spring public bath can be used as a private bath.
・Private reservation hours (50 minutes each) 1) 18:00-18:50 2) 19:10-20:00 3) 20:10-21:00 4) 21:10-22:00
・Normal bathing hours for men and women: 15:00-17:50 (Rock bath: men, Cypress bath: women) / 6:30-10:00 (Rock bath: women, Cypress bath: men)
*We will inform you of the time in the order of arrival, so we may not be able to accommodate your request.
*Since the large hot spring bath will be used as a private bath, the regular bathing hours for men and women will be changed. Thank you for your cooperation.
■Hot spring■
The only ‘Hida Kuraiyama Onsen' in Japan.
There is a ‘rock bath' that uses huge stones from the Jomon period which emits radium, and a ‘cypress bath' which is attractive with its scent and magnificent scenery. Please enjoy two different types of hot spring. Both hot spring time will switch by men and women at night and in the morning.
■Wanosato Lounge Hearth■
After dinner, Wanosato's Kataribe（Storyteller） will provide you a little hospitality with ‘Kapposake,' a local sake warmed in green bamboo cup.
