Fresh vegetables, freshwater fish, local meat, edible plants and mushrooms. "Mountaineer Course Meal" is Syoubun's recommended standard course meal, featuring the best foods and ingredients Minakami area and Gunma prefecture has to offer.
We use unique local cooking methods and seasoning, to bring out the best authentic taste and flavor.
• Course Description
Using carefully selected local ingredients, our chefs cook each meal carefully and wholeheartedly.
Fresh and flavorful "Minakami Vegetables" are grown with integrity by our local partner farms.
Meats include Oze Dream Pork, Joshu Wheat Pork, and Akagi Chicken, all of which are high brands of Gunma.
When in season, edible plants and mushrooms are picked directly from the local mountains. Most seasoning including miso are homemade.
Water used for cooking is all natural, drawn from the Tanigawa mountains.
Please enjoy our proud local speciality, to a full stomach.
