Ocean Side – Japanese Room + BedroomA suite with a Japanese-style living room and a bedroom. Equipped with two sinks and two toilets, offering comfortable accommodation for up to four guests.
From the window, you can see the raging surf on the Sea of Japan Sea in winter, and the fishermen’s lights lining the horizon in summer.
We recommend sitting by the sea and reading a book while listening to the waves, or gazing at the sea as its expression changes by the hour. You can also experience the unique sounds of the Echizen coast, with the cries of seabirds and the lapping of waves.

●The male snow crabs caught in Fukui Prefecture are called "Echizen-gani"
Echizen is one of the most optimal fishing grounds for crab. The rich sea, with its coastal topography, abundant food, and seawater temperature, creates an environment that nurtures high-quality crabs. Our ryokan, Yamazaki, holds the right to purchase crabs directly, allowing us to acquire carefully selected crabs chosen by our chefs without going through wholesalers.
This plan was created in response to many requests for a dinner of "nothing but crab!" featuring the "Yellow Tag Echizen Crab" personally selected and purchased at auction by the owner.
For two guests, one whole crab is served piping hot and boiled. The other whole crab is split: one half as crab sashimi (can be changed to shabu-shabu) and the other half as grilled crab.
The shell is used for "Seared Crab Miso."
