You can also enjoy creative dishes using fresh local fish in season.

Natural live fish caught in the rough seas of the west coast of Amakusa, selected by the owner, who runs a fish shop, with the discerning professional eye.
A variety of dishes that make the most of the luxurious ingredients and take so much time and effort to prepare that it's a shame to eat them.
The quantity is also impressive.


Shimoda Onsenkyo has a history of over 700 years since its opening.
The water is colorless and transparent, smooth to the touch, and has just the right temperature.
The bathtub is drained and cleaned every day, so you can always enjoy clean, free-flowing water.


*Parking is free of charge.
*The large public bath is open until 8am the next morning, and the open-air bath is open until 10pm for safety reasons.
